Chase Your Dreams

‘To be better, you have to change and to be perfect, change often.’

Have you always wanted to run 4 miles? publish a book? revamp your house? plant flowers? start photography and things like that ? Have you ever tried to? Failed? It is totally okay. Fail better next time. Dust yourself off and get back on track and someday you’ll find the result you’d always desired. Stop waiting for the perfect moment for it will never come. Chase your dreams , let go of your comfort zone and live like there is no tomorrow. It may seem to be a distant phenomenon and yes it will take time, it will require determination, hard work and sweat but it will all be worth it in the end. If you take the desired change right now, you can create a brand new ending , a life that you’d imagined. 20 years from now you will remember this moment , either as a bitter or a sweet memory. All of your life depends on your decisions and choices. Take the choice that you will thank yourself for. Be the life coach of your own life. Go to new places, explore, dream and rejoice for life is too short to live for money and materialism. Instead, live your dreams, make them come true and never back down…

There Is A Way Out

Defeat? Sorrow? Melancholy? Depression? Loss? Underestimation? Loneliness?

You’ve seen it all , one by one, step by step,striding into your life, bringing unimaginable pain, regret and helplessness. You’ve already cried into your pillow, silently, seething in turmoil, crying your heart out………….. But did anything change? No. The circumstances remained the same and you still felt lifeless, numb and stricken. It seems that there is no other way out, no path, no steps to follow.. But wait, there is a lot YOU can do, today and everyday to let yourself know that you are strong, unbreakable and that fire inside you is not going to die out and YOU are not backing down. You can smile all day, never letting anyone sense the war waging inside but at the end of the day, you’ll feel all the worse. Instead, stop waiting for people to notice, to understand or to help.Love yourself with all you’ve got. Chalk out your path, be self sufficient and never lose that desire to live because YOU are worth it all.

Be that person who gave everything and never expected anything in return. Be that person, who shone even in the darkest of times. Be that person, who had no regrets while others had many. Be that person everyone wishes to be. Be that person who got enriched by every pain. Be that person who chased the craziest of dreams. Be that person who took time to live each day.

Let’s Live

The smiles, the laughs, the giggles, the talks

All lost in the path that everyone walks.

Life became a race, one had to be better than the best

Hard work became a lifeline, examination, the real test.

Forgotten were the days of the brotherhood and the calm,

Forgotten was that death is close to life as finger to palm.

Life became a struggle, no joy was to remain.

And the lack of the desire to live, stayed all the same.

Smiling was a distant phenomenon, enjoying life, a sin

Everyone stared into their empty lives, with a single reason-to win.

Let’s put this greed out of our lives, let’s start to live again.

Let’s smile like there is no end, let’s put an end to every pain.

Let’s get together and shine like we are one,

Let’s live the remaining days , while being our own sun.

I Know That You Try

A million wishes, a billion thoughts, tons of dreams and a vision is what makes us. We all want to be somewhere higher, from where the view is even better. We all want to do what we have always wanted to. We all have tied ourselves to a goal, a wish that we yearn to fulfill. I wish you the best of luck for your dreams, your aspirations, your desires, and your journey. Some people do criticize you, they try to bring you down and they believe that you’ll fall. But I know that you can rise above it all. I know that you have a power inside of you that no one can steal. I know that you are far better than what people give you credit for. I appreciate you . I know that you try. Never feel alone. Never.

You are capable of anything. You can make that desired life change. Believe it or not, right now, in this moment, you CAN create the life that you have always wanted. There will be setbacks, negativity, criticism, backstabbers and failure but you cannot stop and I know that you won’t stop. Haven’t you already seen a lot in life? After coming this far , you cannot give up. There is a lot better things for you too see on this journey of betterment . You try a lot, up-to your capacity. But you need to go stronger, harder and better because you have a lot of people to prove wrong. Good Luck ! 🙂

The Woodland Lake

When I extended my gaze

out towards that lake,

I saw in its depth,

another me staring back,

With curious eyes,

with a questioning look,

it asked me a question,

written in no book.

It asked me if I was still alive,

If I still enjoyed the little things,

If I still wished a wish for wings,

If I still give thanks to him,

for every bit,

for every thing.

If I still loved the dance

of the birds

If I still loved the clouds,

quenching the land’s thirst.

If I was still alive,

and was living my life,

why was I putting it at stake?

thinking of merging my unconcerned self,

with the clear, deserted

woodland lake.

This is my entry for the Non – Love in More Than Ten Sentences challenge given to me by Nicodemas over at nicodemasplusthree. Thanks to you Nicodemas, I really enjoyed doing this.

This is a poem about a person who tries to commit suicide but his/her soul couldn’t let go and stopped him/her because he/she deserved to live , to love, to fight, to leave a mark on this world. This is not really a love poem but it is in a way that we love ourselves even when we have extinguished all sources of love, when we are alone, when no one seems to be there, we are there, just for ourselves. 🙂

1. What is the reason you started blogging? I wanted to make friends, learn from others and I wanted to become a part of an enriching and closely knit community consisting of beautiful people.

2. What is your favorite sport? Soccer. ( Because it is the only sport that I can play well)

3. What has been a special moment for you in 2014? There were many great moments like the day I started my blog, the moment when I made some amazing friends who have the same ideology as me, the moment when I was nominated for my first award, the moments where I learnt that someone felt good after reading my work and a ton of others. 🙂

Moments

When we have these moments in life, everything appears splendid.

We seem to forget our grief, each scar seems to be mended.

Some people make us laugh when we cease to smile ,

They make life so beautiful and forgetting them takes a while.

Some moments are so unmatched , they take a special place in your heart.

A soft smile , a goofy smirk and all those giggles play their own part.

Those moments make life worth living,  they make us feel better.

When those moments are remembered years after, they make our heart flutter.

Such moments come after a dark phase of life, so don’t give up.

All things happen for the best ,some are smooth others are rough.

But those light moments don’t come everyday , so live your best life today.

Remember to live those moments to the fullest , Don’t bend your head anyway.

Because you are the hero of your own story, everything depends on your effect.
