Change For the Better

Yes, I changed. I stopped caring for the people who never did. I stopped letting other people control my life. I stopped getting affected by the negativity that people plant- literally everywhere. I stopped letting people hover over my mind, the people who only know how to steal the life, the zest out of others. I stopped being cowardly. I started standing up for myself, for my dignity. I started being my own compass. My choices are totally mine now. No one to blame and no one to interfere. I still am the same for the people of value. I still am me for the true ones who make me smile when I think of it to be impossible. The thing I stopped doing was making my life hard for myself , simply by paying heed to the brighter side of everything. So yes, I changed. I changed for the better.

Under It’s Veil

The one with no tears also feels,

But with a smile, the pain, he conceals.

The one with no words wants to say,

what he goes through but his voice at bay.

The one with no thoughts to share,

Has an overflowed mind wrapped in fear.

The one with no reasons to explain,

knows that he’d done all but in vain.

The one with no desire to live,

is a wilted flowed with no share of dew.

The one with no smile to express,

has seen a lot, much, that can depress.

The ones who show nothing at all,

have taken unmatched pain and every fall.

till death gets them under it’s veil.

# Which is your fav music band? No particular one but Night changes, Forever young, 18 and fools gold by one direction and show me the meaning by backstreet boys are really good songs .

That is a VERY hard question. But I totally love ‘ A thousand splendid suns’, ‘The kite runner’, ‘ The monk who sold his ferrari’, the ‘twilight’ series, ‘black beauty’ and ‘To kill a mockingbird’.

# What is your present profession? Is there any dream profession you would love to be a part of? I am still studying but I’d love to be an author.

# If you could remain a particular age forever what age would this be? I don’t know…. Have to think about that.

# What do you like more dancing/singing/traveling? Best hobby among these 3? Travelling for sure!

# Write how did your day go today in 5 sentences. It was raining today but I coped up. It was another day in the routine that we follow.  The beauty of the lush green leaves was enchanting, particularly in the rain. My day wasn’t too tiring nor too relaxing . Overall, it was a good day.

The free style writing challenge!

I was nominated by Story Teller for the freestyle writing challenge. Thanks to Story Teller for the nomination to this interesting challenge. Here are the rules:

Open an MS Word document
1. Set a stop watch or your mobile to 5 minutes or 10 minutes whichever challenge you think you can beat.

2. You topic is at the foot of this post BUT DO NOT SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IT UNTIL    YOU ARE READY WITH A TIMER.

3. Fill the word doc with as much words as you want. once you began writing do not stop even to turn.

The Summer Season

Of the four seasons that pass by,, my favorite is definitely the summer season. It brings in the warmth of hope after a long winter (particularly where I live) . Summer is characterized by heat, uncomfortable time and often times fatigue. But, I love summer for the feeling of it. If it is compared to the winter here in Kashmir, then it is a blessing. After 6 months of chilly winter, cold and snow, we finally get to feel the heat and the light that the beautiful sun emits. Summer , to me, is synonymous with regeneration and the feeling of a new anticipation ahead. Hardly some people find the winters interesting here, but I find them boring and of course, in contrast to that, I love the summer season, which to me is nature’s exquisite smile.

I Realized

The breaths were not satisfying,

The fire was flaming high,

refusing to be extinguished.
