Beautiful things don’t ask for attention

The world is full of magical things, waiting for our senses to grow sharper.

If you listen, you can feel earth’s heart beating.

We need the tonic of wilderness.

See where you stand

I feel that the people who are prosperous or from affluent backgrounds overlook others’ conditions. They forget that not every country is developed , not everyone can afford the lavish lifestyles they enjoy, not everyone is a millionaire, not everyone has money to spend on the things they’d like to have , not everyone has basic necessities , not everyone lives in mansions and not everyone drives a Mercedes

People who live in the socially and economically developed areas of the world do not know or understand that there are people who live in disputed regions , war torn areas, who are victims of the lust for power of their rulers, who see murders and assaults in front of their eyes, who don’t live the life they do. Not everyone belongs to the unprivileged class and not everyone is an untouched spectator but most of the people are. People complaining about not having the perfect fall candle don’t know that there are people who live 24/7 without electricity, people complaining about not having the right to property don’t know that there are people with no right to liberty or democracy, people complaining about not having the perfect house decor don’t realize that there are people who sleep under the stars, people who complain about not having an ideal lipstick don’t know that there are acid victims somewhere else.

Open your eyes and see where you stand and be thankful because 775 million people can’t even read this.

A Bit Of Motivation

What people lack nowadays is the zest , the desire to be the best that they can possibly be . You at this moment, right now, have the power to be who you have always wanted to be. Waiting for the perfect day to run, to do yoga, to do anything is hitting a dead end, because there is nothing such as a “Perfect day”: This the only moment you’ve got, this power will never be yours again and after this moment is lost , perhaps you will never find it again. Live for this moment, use the present to carve out your higher self because all you have is now and nothing more.

30 years from now you will regret your complacent attitude and will wish that you’d just seized the opportunities you got. I don’t want that to happen, YOU don’t want that to happen , so take this instance and use it to fulfill your dreams and to reach a step closer to where you want to be.

Also, life is not a checklist of achievements. So, take some time everyday to do things that make you happy, that make you jump out of bed in the morning , the things that define why you exist. Find things you love and get going because all you own and exercise power over is NOW.

Good luck!

I Was In Your Wake

” I was the sky

and you were the sea,

wandering to find you,

consumed the best parts of me,

I was the sun

and you were the moon,

I hid myself each night,

just to let you burn,

I was the moth,

and you were the light,

I sacrificed myself,

Just to feast my eyes with your sight.

I was the fire ,

And you were the rain,

I gave away myself,

So that you’d never wane.

I was the earth,

and you were the breeze,

In the end, your existence,

forced my devastation to cease.

Some Day

” She falls as she gives away,

everything she’d ever preserved,

She crashes upon the rocks,

falls deeper every second,

She knows the direction ,

And she knows the way,

She will fall, she will get away.

You can never convince someone,

Who is sure that they would

never listen to what others say,

But just be a part of oblivion,

some time, some day.”

Recognize Her Today

There are a hundred dreams,

Tucked behind her eyes,

And a million wishes,

Folded just within that psyche,

She has a million places to visit,

She is wistful for the places,

She doesn’t even know,

She has a thousand poems,

Inside the fortifications of her heart,

She has hundreds of regrets,

Hidden in her little mind,

She loves the little things,

Says the big ones are just too bleak,

She was a museum of hardship,

heart break and heartache,

But still she would verbalize her life,

As if it was nothing but perfect.

Little did they know?

Behind those dreams,

Were tears to shed,

Beneath all the wishes,

Was the love, she could never get,

Underneath all the wanderlust,

She was a broken star,

And Behind every poem,

Was a part from life itself,

Behind her regrets,

Was the affection she could

by no means

 make people comprehend,

Behind the little moments ,

Were minute smiles,

Passed by someone,

 for the very first time.

And At the back,

 of all the devastation,

Was simply existence itself.
